Las tote bags, un objeto omnipresente en el mundo del arte, adquiridas en ferias, museos, galerías o recibidas como regalos, son transformadas en la superficie y el tema de una serie de pinturas que exploran la circulación y legitimación del arte. Preparadas de manera tradicional, montadas sobre un bastidor de madera con clavos y gesso, selecciono qué parte de la bolsa será la parte frontal de la pieza. Después, reproduzco lo que está debajo mediante una capa de óleo.
